[메가경제=전창민 기자] The signature flower of global artist G-DRAGON will bloom anew by joining hands with Oxford, Korea’s leading block manufacturer.
On the 9th, Oxford announced plans to produce a limited edition block flower ‘818 BLOOM’, in collaboration with PEACEMINUSONE from G-DRAGON in time for the International Day of Peace.
On September 21, the International Day of Peace, the pre-order sale of G-DRAGON’s ‘818 BLOOM’, produced using PEACEMINUSONE’s intellectual property, will be available on major countries’ online websites.
In order to realize the true meaning of PEACEMINUSONE, G-DRAGON itself directly participated in designing the product, adding value by providing a special hologram authenticity certificate, signed by the artist for counterfeit prevention.
It is expected to attract world’s fans and collectors as ‘818 BLOOM’, created as the world’s first DIY product based on an artist’s persona, is released as a special limited edition.
Oxford, in collaborating with G-DRAGON’s PEACEMINUSONE, was founded in 1961 and has grown into a global-scale block manufacturing company, ranking second in global sales by producing more than 200 million blocks annually and selling them in 30 countries.
Oxford has launched various popular series and has been loved by block fans around the world. It sparked competition among block collectors by introducing numerous hit series such as the ‘Cultural Heritage Series’, featuring Sung featuring Sungnyemun, Geobukseon (Turtle Ship), Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Colosseum; the ‘Heroes Series,’ including Admiral Yi Sun-sin and King Gwanggaeto the Great; and the ‘War Series,’ set against the backdrop of world history.
